Solange Knowles ha vuelto a la música con A Seat at the Table, SOLANGE YA IBA SIENDO HORA QUE DESDE EL 2012 NO TENÍAMOS DISCO. 

Según Solange se trata de un proyecto de identidad, empoderamiento, independencia, dolor y sanación, y con algo de crítica política. Es un disco con sonido ligero, muy al estilo Lana del Rey, con opiniones expresadas de Solange, la cuál se ha referido al disco como un disco de Punk.

Se trata de un disco de Funk-Punk y R&B que muchos esperabamos y que nos ha sorprendido mucho que tuviera colaboraciones con artistas como Lil Wayne o Kelly Rowland.
